Numbers rarely match exactly because each system reports on a different clock, at a different processing stage, and sometimes gross vs net of fees. Align the time zone, date range, currency and gross/net basis before assuming revenue is missing.

Two systems almost never agree to the last cent, and that’s expected, not a sign of missing revenue. The usual causes: different time zones (Ad Manager often reports in a fixed time zone while your dashboard may use UTC or local time, shifting a day’s data across the boundary), estimated vs finalized numbers (early figures can be revised as Google reconciles them), gross vs net values (some dashboards show revenue before a revenue share is applied, others after), and currency conversion timing if your account isn’t in the same currency as the report you’re comparing it to.
Playgama Ad reports ad requests, match rate, fill rate, show rate, impressions, eCPM, RPM and revenue, broken down by game, placement, format, geo and device.
How do I reconcile the numbers properly?
- Pick identical date ranges in the same time zone in both systems.
- Confirm whether each report is gross or net, and compare like with like.
- Match currency, or convert both to the same one before comparing.
- Break totals down by game or placement key so a difference in one segment doesn’t get lost in an aggregate total.
- Wait for Ad Manager figures to finalize before treating early numbers as the final total.
If after aligning all of these a gap remains, check whether one report includes formats or inventory the other excludes (for example banners reported separately from full-screen formats).

Should I trust Ad Manager or my own dashboard as the source of truth?
Treat Ad Manager as the authoritative record for its own inventory once figures finalize; use other dashboards for cross-network comparison, matching date range and basis first.
Can GA4 revenue differ from ad server revenue too?
Yes – GA4 often relies on estimated or sampled event data and different attribution windows, so it can diverge from both your ad dashboard and Ad Manager.
