Load the Poki SDK script tag on your game page, signal loading with PokiSDK.init() and gameLoadingFinish(), then call gameplayStart()/gameplayStop() around play sessions and PokiSDK.commercialBreak() at natural pauses before showing an interstitial or rewarded ad.

The Poki SDK is a script you load on the page hosting your game. After PokiSDK.init() resolves, call PokiSDK.gameLoadingFinish() once your assets are ready so Poki knows the loading screen can end. From there, wrap every play session with PokiSDK.gameplayStart() when the player is actively playing and PokiSDK.gameplayStop() during menus, pause screens or level-end summaries – Poki uses this state to decide when a break is safe to show. Before an interstitial or rewarded ad, call PokiSDK.commercialBreak() and wait for its promise before continuing.

If you target multiple platforms, open-source SDK wrappers like Playgama Bridge adapt one build to 25+ platforms including Poki.

Where else can you publish the same build?

Test loading and commercial-break calls on a local server first; browsers block some SDK network calls on file:// paths.

Do I need to call gameplayStart every level?

Call it whenever the player resumes active play and gameplayStop when they pause or hit a menu – Poki uses this state to time commercial breaks correctly.

Can I test the Poki SDK before submitting my build?

Yes, load the SDK script on a local or staged page and check that gameLoadingFinish, gameplayStart/Stop and commercialBreak fire in the right order before you submit.
