Publish through Meta’s Instant Games flow: pass Business Verification, then the Approved Partner Program Review, then set up In-App Ads review if you monetize. Facebook is one of several places to publish a web build alongside Poki, CrazyGames, GameDistribution, itch.io and playgama.com.

Facebook Instant Games publishing is a sequence of Meta reviews, not a single upload button. First, Meta requires Business Verification: legal entity documents, tax ID, and a payout-ready bank account, usually cleared in 1-3 business days. Nothing else unlocks until that’s done. Next comes the Approved Partner Program Review, where you submit a questionnaire about your studio and links to previously released games; a rejection here locks the account for 180 days before you can reapply, so submit your strongest, most polished title first. If you plan to run ads, you also need an In-App Ads Review, setting up rewarded-video and interstitial placements before they go live.

Facebook is one of several places to put a finished HTML5 build. Others include Poki, CrazyGames, GameDistribution, and itch.io. To adapt one build across 25+ platforms including Facebook, the open-source Playgama Bridge SDK handles the integration layer.

Once live in Meta’s Play Lab, promotion to the higher-traffic Play Tab depends on hitting DAU and retention or revenue thresholds Meta tracks, so design for short sessions and social sharing from the start.

What happens if the Approved Partner Program Review rejects my game?

Your account is locked for 180 days before you can reapply, so submit your most polished, already-proven title rather than an early experiment.

Do I need ads set up before submitting to Facebook Instant Games?

Only if you plan to monetize with ads. The In-App Ads Review covers rewarded-video and interstitial placements configured in Meta’s dashboard.
