Getting Barrier Blocks Through Commands
Barrier blocks are invisible blocks that can only be obtained through commands in Minecraft. You cannot craft them or find them naturally in the world. To get barrier blocks, you need to have operator permissions (cheats enabled) and use the give command.
Java Edition Command
In Java Edition, type this command in the chat:
/give @s barrier [amount]
Replace [amount] with the number of barrier blocks you want. For example, /give @s barrier 64 gives you a full stack.
Bedrock Edition Command
For Bedrock Edition (including mobile, console, and Windows 10), the command is slightly different:
/give @s barrier [amount] 0

Making Barrier Blocks Visible
Once you have barrier blocks, they’re completely invisible when placed. To see them while building, hold another barrier block in your hand. This makes all placed barrier blocks appear with a red “no entry” symbol, making them much easier to work with.
