Nether Portal
The most common portal you’ll encounter is the Nether Portal, built with obsidian blocks arranged in a rectangular frame (minimum 4×5). Light it with flint and steel to create the purple swirling gateway that transports you to the Nether dimension. You’ll need at least 10 obsidian blocks, though larger portals work too.
End Portal

End Gateway Portal

Exit Portal
The Exit Portal spawns automatically after defeating the Ender Dragon, featuring a bedrock fountain with a dragon egg on top. Walking into this portal returns you to the Overworld and triggers the end credits sequence.
Ruined Portals
These damaged Nether Portal structures generate naturally throughout the Overworld and Nether. They’re partially built with obsidian and often include a chest containing useful items like flint and steel, obsidian, or gold ingots. You can repair them to create functional portals.
