What is Minecraft Championship (MCC)?
Minecraft Championship is a monthly tournament featuring popular Minecraft content creators competing in custom mini-games. Organized by Noxcrew, this event brings together 40 participants divided into 10 teams of 4 players each.
How MCC Works
Each tournament consists of eight different mini-games that test various Minecraft skills:
- Parkour Warrior – Navigate challenging obstacle courses
- Sky Battle – PvP combat on floating islands
- Hole in the Wall – Quick reflexes to fit through moving walls
- TGTTOSAWAF (To Get To The Other Side And Whack A Fan) – Racing with combat elements
- Build Mart – Team building challenges under time pressure
- Sands of Time – Dungeon exploration for coins
- Survival Games – Battle royale-style elimination
- Rocket Spleef Rush – Elytra flying while breaking blocks
Scoring and Competition Format
Teams earn coins based on their performance in each game. The scoring system multiplies points as the event progresses, making later games more valuable. After eight games, the top two teams advance to Dodgebolt – a final elimination round using crossbows and arrows.
Notable Participants
MCC regularly features major Minecraft YouTubers and streamers like Dream, GeorgeNotFound, TommyInnit, Wilbur Soot, and many others. The event rotates participants to keep teams fresh and competitive.
Viewing Experience
Fans can watch from multiple perspectives simultaneously, as each participant streams their point of view. The main broadcast provides commentary and switches between teams during key moments.
The tournament has become a cornerstone of the Minecraft community, showcasing both individual skill and teamwork in creative game modes that go far beyond standard Minecraft gameplay.
TL;DR
Minecraft Championship (MCC) is a monthly tournament where 40 content creators compete in teams of 4 across eight custom mini-games, culminating in a Dodgebolt finale.
