Getting Enchanted Books in Creative Mode
In Minecraft Creative mode, you have instant access to all enchanted books through your inventory. Simply open your creative inventory (E key by default) and navigate to the “Tools & Utilities” tab or search for “enchanted book” in the search bar. Each application increases the item’s “prior work penalty,” making subsequent enchantments more expensive in survival mode. However, in creative mode, experience cost doesn’t matter since you have unlimited XP.
You can also combine two enchanted books in an anvil to create a single book with multiple enchantments, then apply that combined book to your item. This method helps organize your enchantments before applying them to valuable gear.
Special Enchantment Considerations
Some enchantments have level restrictions or specific item requirements. Curse enchantments like Curse of Binding or Curse of Vanishing can only be applied through enchanted books or found items – they won’t appear in the direct enchantment menu. Additionally, certain enchantments like Mending are treasure enchantments that you’ll typically find as books rather than through enchanting tables.
