About VIZAVI

VIZAVI is the operating program of a link table, written at a Japanese institute for sessions with the other side. The table itself — a board of dice — is not connected, yet the program still starts, emulates the table, and waits for a subject. Subject file No.07 is listed as UNREGISTERED. Running on VIZAVI CORE 2.06, the program notes its previous start as H13.03.21 and reports the link device as NOT FOUND, placing the whole experience in emulation mode. After a session, something may come through; the program does not say what it is.

At its core, VIZAVI is a dice puzzle with keyboard and touch support, available in seven languages. The menu itself is a die, with six files on its faces: LEVELS, PROTOCOL, RECORDS, HOW TO PLAY, README, and SYSTEM.

How to Play VIZAVI: Roll, Combo, and Clear the Board

Rolling and Movement

A subject stands on a die and rolls it across the board. Rolling into an empty cell brings the die — and the subject — into that space, with a side face coming up on top. Stepping onto a die that is already adjacent is a simple step, not a roll. Opposite faces always sum to seven, so under a 1 lies a 6.

Combos and Chains

A combo forms when as many dice sit side by side as their top face shows in pips: two 2s, three 3s, up to six 6s. A finished combo leaves the board — sent. While it is leaving, the channel is open: roll one more die with the same face up to the departing combo and it leaves with it. A leaving die can be walked over; roll over it and the subject's die takes its place, and if the face matches, it joins the chain. A chain multiplies the score in PROTOCOL mode.

Ones and the Floor

A 1 forms no combo on its own. Bring a 1 to a leaving combo, however, and every other 1 on the board leaves at the same time. If the die beneath the subject leaves, the subject lands on the floor. From the floor, dice are pushed: a pushed die slides one cell and does not turn.

Game Modes

    • LEVELS: forty-two boards arranged in one row across seven chapters. The goal is to clear every die off the board; the faces shown in the corner indicate which faces to put together. Nothing comes up from below and there is no clock — the board moves only when a die moves. A step is not counted as a move. Stars are awarded based on the number of moves used. Z takes a move back; R restarts the board. From the floor, the only way back up is a leaving die.
    • PROTOCOL: a session without a limit. Dice rise from below on their own, and what comes up is described as noise. When noise fills the board, the link is lost and the session ends. The results of all subjects feed into one shared table.

For more board-clearing logic challenges, the full puzzle games collection covers everything from relaxed tile-matching to strict move-count puzzles. Arrow Puzzle shares VIZAVI's emphasis on clearing a grid within a counted number of moves, with daily challenges adding fresh layouts. Mahjong Lines rewards the same kind of pattern-matching thinking, connecting identical tiles to clear a board under clear path rules. Arrows puts precise sequencing at the center, asking players to launch arrows off a field without collisions — a tight logic exercise that echoes VIZAVI's combo-planning demands.

VIZAVI's three-dimensional dice board also fits naturally among 3D games, where spatial reasoning shapes every decision.
