Archers and mages form your defensive line, and the only path to a stronger army runs through merging — two identical warriors combine into one more powerful fighter. Gold flows from every enemy defeated, and both your army and your accumulated gold carry forward as you travel from world to world: swamp, ice, desert, mushroom forest, and beyond. A boss waits at the end of each world.

How to Play Merge Defense: Army Behind the Wall: Buy, Merge, and Survive Each Wave

Every run begins with gold and a wall to protect. Spend that gold on warriors, position them behind the wall, and merge pairs of identical fighters to build a stronger force — merging is the only way the army grows in power. Once the wave starts, your army fires automatically and earns gold for each enemy it drops.

Archers and Mages

• Archers: hit one enemy at a time
• Mages: hit several enemies at once

Wave and World Progression

• Press Start to launch a wave; the army shoots on its own and earns gold for enemies defeated.
• After surviving a wave, spend the gold on new warriors and keep merging.
• A boss appears at the end of each world; defeat it to move on.
• Your army and gold carry over between worlds.
• Gold can also be spent on magic and a stronger wall.
