About Garden of Light: Fireflies Awaken a Sleeping Garden
Garden of Light is a quiet, unhurried game about coaxing a dark tree into full bloom. Tiny fireflies carry Light from the roots up through the branches, and every flower they reach opens petal by petal. The challenge is keeping the whole tree glowing at once — flowers that go without fresh sparks will slowly close again, so the garden is never quite finished.
Unusual trees and flowers each hold secrets of their own, and different gardens call for different strategies. Darkness and its creatures threaten the blooms, adding a layer of protection to the gentle tending. The result is a game that moves at its own calm pace while still asking you to think about where the light is fading next.
How to Play Garden of Light: Bloom Every Flower at Once
The goal is to have every flower on the tree open at the same time. Because flowers gradually lose Light, the work is continuous — fireflies need to keep delivering fresh sparks before petals close.
Guiding Fireflies and Gathering Nectar
- Select a flower to direct your fireflies' attention toward it; select the same flower again to clear that direction. Fireflies will also choose flowers on their own.
- Tap or click empty space to collect Nectar. Opening flowers also earns Nectar.
- Spend Nectar in the shop on additional fireflies, upgrades, and abilities.
Protecting the Garden
- Watch for Darkness and its creatures threatening the blooms.
- Use the ability buttons when the garden needs a helping hand against Darkness.
- Follow the in-game tips to discover new flowers and their secrets.

- Click or tap the same flower again: Clear your current direction
