Tinderfoot drops you inside a frozen cabin where the door is iced shut and the only way out is fire. Every piece of wood you burn is also part of the floor beneath your feet, so each decision carries real weight. Gold wood builds heat; wet wood cools the fire, but a stove that's already hot turns wet wood into steam that melts the ice on the door. Hover a board over the stove to preview exactly how hot the fire will be when it lands.
Across 24 cozy cabins, the fuel supply includes wind boards, heavy oak, frosted wood, and little sun charms. Time a throw to the golden flare and chain three perfect throws in a row to start a hot streak. The Daily three mode offers a fresh challenge every day, while the Long Night sends you through cabin after cabin until the cold finally wins. Stars and trophies earned along the way unlock new hats, scarves, and coats for your traveler, and high score and star rankings are available where the platform supports them.
How to Play Tinderfoot: Pull, Burn, and Escape
Pull up a floorboard and carry it to the stove. Watch the stove cue — when it glows gold, a perfectly timed throw lands a perfect hit. String three perfect throws together and a hot streak begins. Gold wood raises the fire's heat directly; wet wood produces steam once the stove is already hot, and that steam is what thaws the frozen door. Every board that goes into the stove is floor that no longer exists, so keeping a walkable path to the door is essential. Once the door is thawed, tap it to escape.
