About Merge Idle War: Casual Merge Auto-Battler
Merge Idle War is a casual merge auto-battler where you build an army by tapping, dragging, and combining units on a 4×4 grid, then watch them fight endless enemy waves on their own. The action centers on chaining merges to climb ten tiers of elemental fighters — starting from a humble Living Droplet and ascending all the way to the black-hole-wielding Cosmic Mass — while gold, combos, and a pulsing meteor meter keep the pressure rising. Bosses enrage, the gate cracks, and the waves never stop; the goal is simply to push further than before.

How to Play Merge Idle War: Spawn, Merge, and Survive
Spawning and Merging Units
From there, drag two identical units together to produce one unit of the next tier. Ten tiers exist in total, each roughly twice as strong as the previous, and each carrying its own ability: burn, poison, chain lightning, freezing novas, and more.
Deploying and Field-Merging
Once in the arena, fighters march automatically against endless enemy waves attacking your Lab Gate from the right. Mid-battle, dropping a grid unit onto a deployed fighter of the same tier upgrades it on the spot at full health — the primary way to rescue a struggling frontliner.
Combos, FEVER, and the Ultimate
Chain kills into combos to ignite FEVER, which doubles gold income. Kills also charge the meteor meter; tap it when it pulses to rain seven meteors on the enemy horde as the Meteor Storm ultimate.
Upgrades and Bosses
Spend gold on permanent attack, health, and bounty boosts. Unlock the Imp Sergeant to handle merging and deploying automatically while you watch. Every 5th wave brings a named boss that enrages below 30% health. If the gate falls, the wave restarts — fallen fighters stay dead, but the war continues. The objective is to beat your best wave.
Controls
- Tap SPAWN button: Fill the spawn meter to drop a Tier-1 Living Droplet onto the grid
- Drag (grid): Move two identical units together to merge them into the next tier
- Drag (grid to arena): Deploy a unit from the grid into the battle arena
- Drag (grid unit onto deployed fighter): Field-merge to upgrade a deployed fighter at full health
- Tap meteor meter: Unleash the Meteor Storm ultimate when the meter pulses
