About Battlecross

Battlecross drops a lone hero into a world brimming with conflict, where the skills of a knight, a pyromancer, a summoner, and a dozen other classes are all available to anyone willing to seek out the right teacher. Combine a knight's shield with pyromancer fire, summon royal guards, stop time, or call a beam from the sky — the build is yours to assemble. Goblins, treants, and demons stand between the hero and the fate of towns, kings, and a dragon, and the choices made along the way permanently reshape who trades, who teaches, and who hunts the hero down.

How to Play Battlecross: Fight, Grow, and Decide

Combat and Zones

Walk up to an enemy and the hero attacks on their own. From there, active skills and health potions are the tools that carry a fight. Each zone ends when every enemy group and the leader at the end have been defeated. Experience and loot carry over even after a fall, so progress is never entirely lost.

Leveling and Attributes

Every level awards 3 attribute points. Six attributes — Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Endurance, Skill, and Charisma — each unlock different skills and gear, so every point spent steers the hero toward a particular build.

Towns and Skills

Towns are where gear gets bought, the potion belt gets enlarged at the healer, and skills get learned from trainers. The hero has 8 active and 4 passive slots, and those slots can be filled from any combination drawn from 16 available classes.

Permanent Choices

At the end of certain zones, a decision must be made — and it cannot be undone. Each such choice alters the towns, the shops, the trainers available, and ultimately the ending of the world of Battlecross.
