LetterHold is a word-building board game where drawing letters, spelling words across a 15x15 board, and claiming premium squares before your opponent does are the core activities. Every tile shows its word value before you commit, turning each turn into a deliberate decision rather than a guess. Stretch a word through a triple-word square, hook onto an existing word to score both at once, or swap a letter for a higher-value one — the board rewards planning at every step.

Three letter sets and three languages — English, Ukrainian, and Polish — each carry their own tile distribution and word list, checked on the spot. Blanks stand in for any letter, and a hint will surface a move when the rack runs dry. Several scenes across the game show a green bowl with a scoop of mint-colored ice cream, a cherry on top, and a small face serving as a player avatar. In one scene, a large yellow star sits on the center tile of the grid.

How to Play LetterHold: Score More Points Than Your Opponent

The goal is to outscore your opponent by building words on the board. The game ends when the bag is empty and one player uses up their rack; the highest score at that point wins. Every word formed is checked against the dictionary of the chosen language, and premium squares multiply either a single letter or the whole word. Using all your tiles in one turn earns a bonus.
