Ebb Tide: Pirate Tactics
About Ebb Tide: Pirate Tactics
Ebb Tide: Pirate Tactics drops you straight into naval combat on the Foggy Sea with no story and no menus — your first fight is already at the cannon. The game rotates six types of jobs through a three-card pick system, sending your ship automatically to each engagement while you handle the gunnery and tactical decisions. Officers in your crew buy their own weapons from their share of the loot, and harbor visits let you heal, repair, and upgrade between fights. Gold earned from completed jobs funds a bigger ship as your campaign grows.
How to Play Ebb Tide: Pirate Tactics — Pick Jobs, Fire Cannons, Earn Gold
After each fight, three cards appear and you choose the next job. The ship sails to the destination on its own and the battle begins automatically. Aim the cannon yourself and fire — round shot for hull damage, chain shot to tear sails, and grapeshot to sweep enemy decks. In boarding and shore fights your heroes act independently, though tapping a skill card lets you intervene. When the hull takes damage or a hero is wounded, pressing To Harbor sends you to the nearest port to heal and repair. Each harbor upgrade — hull, sails, and cannons — takes a single tap.
Job Types
- Bounty hunt for a named captain
- Tournament of gunner duels
- Convoy raid
- Sea monster hunt
- Fort assault
- 4 versus 4 shore raid where your heroes fight in ranks

If the cannon aiming in Ebb Tide: Pirate Tactics appeals to you, Cannon Blast delivers a similarly satisfying artillery challenge — aim carefully, judge your power, and chain destructive shots through increasingly complex layouts. For a different angle on ranged combat and defense, Last Archer puts you on a tower under monster assault, rewarding precise targeting much like the gunner duels in Ebb Tide.
