About Cascade: Idle Liquid Alchemy Across Three Lands
Cascade is an idle game of liquid alchemy set on a floating island, where a cannon sprays a jet at treasures hovering above a copper cauldron. The objects — a barrel, an anvil, a jewelled crown — are each built from thousands of individually simulated grains. The jet chips them away grain by grain, the debris tumbles into the cauldron, and the cauldron converts everything into gold. As progress climbs through 18 tiers spread across three lands — the Valley, the Far North, and the Desert — the cannon's liquid evolves from boiling water through abrasive slurry, quicksilver, and liquid fire, all the way to liquid light. Seventy-two relics hide inside the objects, golden bubbles drift across the sky offering short boosts, and the workshop keeps earning while away.
How to Play Cascade: Spray, Collect, and Climb 18 Tiers
Aim the cannon at the floating object to spray it. Everything that falls into the cauldron becomes gold, which funds every upgrade and expansion in the Workshop.
Workshop Upgrades
- Pressure: cuts harder materials
- Flow: thickens the jet
- Water hammer: adds bursts
- Cauldron: pays more for every sale
- Dynamite: blasts big chunks — place the charge by clicking where it should go
Automata and Tiers
The Automata tab lets you buy cannons and helpers that keep working independently. The Tiers tab unlocks richer objects, stronger liquids, and new lands. Each of the 18 tiers brings access to more valuable targets and more powerful cannon liquids.
Relics and Passive Earning
Relics are hidden inside objects; completing one of the 18 relic sets grants a permanent bonus. Pop the golden bubbles drifting across the sky for short boosts. The workshop continues earning gold while away, so returning always brings accumulated resources.
The overall goal is to turn everything into gold, unlock all 18 tiers, and complete all 18 relic sets.
Controls
- Left mouse button (hold) or Space: spray the floating object with the cannon
- D or click the dynamite: activate Dynamite, then click to place the charge
- A: open the full workshop
- Esc: close the current panel
