The Deep: Ocean Colony puts you in command of a side-scrolling underwater defense where glass domes and turrets must survive relentless waves of ocean threats. Raiders, piranha swarms, depth-charge ships, and massive bosses all converge on the colony, while turrets, green drones, and allied submarines fight alongside you. Between each attack wave, the colony grows, the assaults intensify, and your standing on the board of colonies is tracked at the top of the screen.
How to Play The Deep: Ocean Colony: Protect the Domes and Climb the Board
The submarine sails and aims on its own, so your role is choosing the right moment to act. Enemies damage the domes and turrets during each wave; both are repaired between attacks. After every wave, select one upgrade card to strengthen the colony before the next assault begins.
Actions
- Homing Torpedo: fire at any enemy on screen by targeting it, launching a torpedo that tracks the chosen target
- Shield: covers both the colony and the submarine for a few seconds
- Bomb Run: sends the submarine on a short bombing run over the largest pack of enemies
