About 2048 Optics: Logic Puzzle with Laser Optics
2048 Optics fuses the familiar tile-merging logic of 2048 with a laser optics puzzle. On a 5×5 board, every merge produces a new number that also carries an optical function: two 2s become a mirror, two 4s become a prism that splits white light into red and blue, and two 8s become a splitter. After each move the laser path is recalculated across the board. The goal is to light every receiver with the correct color, and doing so within the level's par count earns a second star. Spread across 200 levels in four chapters, the game includes undo, automatic saving, and optional hints.
How to Play 2048 Optics
Slide all tiles in one direction each turn. When two equal tiles meet they merge into the next number, and that new tile takes on an optical role: 4 is a mirror, 8 is a prism, and 16 is a splitter. Tapping or clicking an optical tile rotates it. Every slide and every rotation counts as one move. The laser is traced again after each action, so repositioning and rotating tiles steers the beam toward the receivers. Light each receiver in its required color to complete the level; finish at or under par to earn the second star.
Undo and Restart are both free to use. Hints are off by default — untick "Turn off hints" in Settings or in the pause menu to enable them, after which the Hint button shows the next move.
