Wardvale: Wizard's Way
About Wardvale: Wizard's Way: Hand-Painted Pixel Tower Defense
Wardvale: Wizard's Way puts you in command of a wizard defending a keep from relentless goblin waves across ten levels of hand-painted pixel-art tower defense. The road to your keep is the battlefield, and every plot along it is a decision: build, upgrade, or hold. The game moves at your pace — a skippable tutorial eases you in, an x2 speed option keeps things brisk, and support for seven languages makes it broadly accessible.
How to Play Wardvale: Wizard's Way
Stop every wave before the enemies reach your keep. Clearing a level earns up to three stars, which feed into your wizard's star tree. Work through all ten levels to complete the campaign.
Tower Types
- Fire
- Water
- Air
- Earth
Tower Powers
Each tower ranks up over time, and every new rank lets you choose a power for that tower. Named powers available across the four tower types include:
- Meteors

- Water snares
- Stone golems that hold the road
Spells and Wave Management
Cast spells directly onto the road to affect enemies mid-wave. Calling the next wave early via the wave marker rewards bonus gold. Fearsome bosses appear as the campaign progresses.
