SOS: Cozy Tea Time
About SOS: Cozy Tea Time: Classic Pencil-and-Paper Strategy on a 3D Wooden Table
SOS: Cozy Tea Time brings the classic pencil-and-paper strategy game SOS to a warm, 3D wooden table setting. The goal is straightforward: take turns with the computer placing the letter S or O, spell out S-O-S in any direction to score, and finish with more SOS sequences than your opponent when the board fills up. Difficulty levels run from Easy through Medium to Hard, and board sizes range from 6×6 all the way up to 12×12, so the challenge scales with how much you want to think. A 3D/2D view toggle, a hint system, candlelight ambiance, soft rain audio, and support for 17 languages round out the experience.
In one scene, a white lit candle in a gold holder and a steaming mug of brown liquid on a coaster sit on a dark wood-grain surface. The game board itself rests on a white and tan checkered fabric cloth. A small stack of three books and a potted succulent plant are visible at the top edge of that same scene.
How to Play SOS: Cozy Tea Time
At the start of each turn, choose either S or O from the selector at the bottom of the screen — or along the side when holding a phone sideways — then tap or click any empty square to place your letter. Whenever your placement completes an S-O-S sequence horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, you score 1 point and earn an extra turn. The match ends once every square on the board is filled, and the player who has formed the most SOS sequences wins.
Defensive awareness matters: leaving a partial line such as S _ S or S O _ on the board hands your opponent an easy score. If you get stuck at any point, press the Hint button to get a nudge in the right direction.
