About Hexlands: Relaxing 3D Adventure RPG

Hexlands is a relaxing 3D adventure RPG built around one simple idea: walk near something and your hero handles it automatically. Chop a tree, mine a rock, fight a monster — all of it happens without manual input. The player's role is to explore, expand, and push further into the world in search of the Lost Crown.

The world spreads across 13 islands and 500 hexes, covering biomes that include meadow, desert, swamp, autumn woods, canyon, frostlands, jungle, graveyard, volcano, and more. Day shifts to night, and after dark the lantern becomes your only window onto the world while monsters grow bolder. Rain, snow, and volcanic embers add further variety to the journey. Progress saves automatically.

How to Play Hexlands

The goal is to reach the Lost Crown on the far side of the world. Start in a small village on a green meadow and expand outward by standing on a glowing circle to pay for and unlock a new hex. Each new hex can reveal better ore, new monsters, or workshops that convert raw materials into planks, bricks, bars, and gems.

Press E or tap the bubble to open buildings and traders. Defeat the guardian on each bridge to enter a new island; toll gates then open shortcuts between islands. Dungeons contain side rooms, a champion, and a treasure chest. Giant resource titans and supply drops also appear across the world, and traders and a wandering merchant offer further exchanges. Quests provide additional objectives along the way.

• Forge: upgrade tools, sword, armour, and lantern
• Shrine: purchase permanent blessings

• Owl: has its own job
• Turtle: has its own job
• Drake: has its own job

Pets are hatched from eggs at the Nest, each one assigned to a specific role.

Controls

• WASD / Arrow keys: Move on desktop
• Drag anywhere: Move on touch screen
• E / Tap the bubble: Open buildings and traders
