Gorbo the Orc: Axestorm drops you into a wild horde-survival brawl where the star is a big green orc named Gorbo. The core twist is disarmingly simple: Gorbo's weapons swing by themselves, so your only job is to keep him moving. Survive ten minutes on each battlefield against endless waves of goblins, bees, mummies, and dragons, and the game opens up into a surprisingly deep run-building experience across 10 battlefields, 14 weapons, 12 passive items, and 20 champions and bosses.
One scene shows Gorbo at the center of the field — a green-skinned figure in spiked shoulder armor and a red scarf. That same scene has small brown-capped mushrooms and clusters of white flowers scattered across a green textured ground, alongside horizontal brown cylindrical objects with rings on the ends placed at various points in the field.
The first battlefield, Greenwood, eases newcomers in gently. Every battlefield cleared opens a tougher one and unlocks a new weapon. How to Play Gorbo the Orc: Axestorm: Survive, Level Up, and Evolve Your Arsenal
Each run asks you to survive ten minutes on a battlefield. Gorbo attacks automatically — movement is your only direct input. Monsters drop gems when they fall; collecting those gems fills your level-up meter. At every level-up, choose one of three upgrades. A champion arrives at the five-minute mark, and the boss appears at ten minutes. Defeating both clears the battlefield and unlocks the next one.
Weapon Evolution
- Throwing Axe: evolves into the Axestorm
- Blade Ring: evolves into the Iron Maelstrom
- Ember Lantern: evolves into the healing Sunheart
To evolve a weapon, max it out, carry its partner item, and open a chest. Every run builds a different arsenal from the 14 available weapons.
Between Runs
- Spend gold on 16 permanent power-ups to grow stronger across runs.
- Upgrade Gorbo's War Camp so his orcs gather gold while you are away.
- Claim 27 trophies for extra gold.
