Gorbo the Orc: Crown Quest is a funny, bold platform adventure built around a single driving mission: the Minotaur Warlord has stolen the golden crown of the Tusk Clan, and Gorbo is going to take it back. The quest runs across 48 levels divided into 6 worlds, with 6 boss fights and 144 hidden gems scattered throughout. Several scenes show dark green stylized coniferous trees and light grey triangular mountains forming the background. A green-skinned character with a black ponytail, silver pauldrons, and a spiked belt carries a dark blade across these stages. Small red mushrooms with white spots and green rounded bushes appear in the environment across multiple views.

The six worlds — the Whispering Forest, the Crystal Mines, the Dark Castle, the Frozen Peaks, the Haunted Swamp, and the Volcano Fortress — each introduce new monsters and new hazards. Archers and wizards shoot projectiles, shield bearers block your path, bears and boars charge, and ghosts fly straight through walls. Environmental dangers include storm clouds, falling icicles, fire jets, swinging blades, and slippery ice, while bounce mushrooms and locked gates that require a key add further variety to the traversal.

How to Play Gorbo the Orc: Crown Quest — Reach the Door, Beat the Boss

The goal of every level is to reach the door at the far end. The final level of each world is a boss fight, and beating that boss opens the door to the next world. Along the way, hunt down the 3 hidden gems tucked into each level, gather coins, and spend them at the merchant on potions or extra hearts. Lose all your hearts and Gorbo respawns at the last banner he passed.

Combat and Movement

Gorbo's cleaver swings in a 3-hit combo when tapped quickly, and the combo also knocks arrows and spells out of the air. Stomping monsters is another option in close quarters. The axe throw sends the weapon flying and it returns like a boomerang. When hearts run low, drinking a potion restores health. The first levels introduce running, jumping, swinging the cleaver, chaining the combo, and throwing the axe one step at a time before the worlds open up.
