About Undercrown

Undercrown is a top-down 3D dungeon brawler built around a nasty little twist: getting to the treasure is only half the run. Pick one of eight heroes, cut through three floors and 18 rooms, defeat the Gravewarden and the Maw Mother, and finally bring down the Underking himself. Then the real problem starts — that crown was the only thing holding the mountain up, and now you have to run all the way back to the mine lift through collapsing rooms, falling rock, timed doors, and monsters flooding back in. A full run takes 6–8 minutes, if you survive it.

Several scenes show dungeon rooms with stone-textured walls, lit torches, and wooden barrels. In one combat scene, red circular stains mark the hexagonal floor tiles.

How to Play Undercrown: Get Down, Take the Crown, Get Out Alive

The goal is three words: get down, take the crown, get back out alive. Three floors hold 18 rooms, each with its own colour scheme, leading through the Gravewarden and the Maw Mother to the Underking. Beat him, grab the crown, and immediately reverse course — the escape through collapsing rooms is the real fight.

Smash crates and barrels to find coins and potions. Watch for spike traps on a timer, and roll through anything you cannot out-trade. Kill enough enemies to level up, then pick one of three upgrades — no two runs build the same way. Each new floor heals you and hands you a free upgrade. Bank coins between runs to unlock heroes.

• Kachujin: fights with nothing but fists
• Ninja: works twin daggers
• Erika: picks enemies off with a crossbow
• Medea: casts from a staff
• Captain: brawls with a cutlass
• Heraklios: brings a greataxe to every argument
