Through the Lens is a noir spot-the-difference game built entirely in 3D. The conceit is clever: you are the camera on a case, orbiting each scene and peering through your lens to catch what's wrong before taking the photograph. Solve a story case scene by scene, then carry on in endless mode, where every case is generated fresh and the differences grow progressively harder to find.
Several scenes show richly detailed 3D environments that reward careful inspection from multiple angles. One scene presents a dimly lit interior where objects are arranged across the space in a way that makes subtle changes easy to miss.
How to Play Through the Lens: Orbit, Compare, and Photograph
Two versions of the same scene exist simultaneously — but only one is ever visible at a time. The lens is the key: raise it to peek at the other reality, move it across the scene to compare the two versions, and tag every discrepancy you find. Once all changes are tagged, the scene locks in as a photograph added to your case board.
Drag the scene to rotate your view, and pinch or scroll to zoom in on suspicious details. The story mode takes you through a case scene by scene, while endless mode keeps building new cases with differences that become increasingly difficult to spot.

- Move lens: Compare the two versions of the scene side by side
- Press and hold a changed object: Tag it as a found difference
- Drag: Rotate the scene
