About TerraTap Kingdom: Geography Guessing on a Hand-Styled World Map

TerraTap Kingdom is a geography guessing game played on a hand-styled world map that carries no labels. Instead of photos or Street View, the challenge comes entirely from what you already know about the world. Each clue takes one of three forms: a country silhouette, a famous landmark, or a short fact sheet. Tap where you think the place is, and that country becomes yours to conquer.

Progress through a country is tracked across three tiers — discovered, controlled, and mastered — determined by how accurately you place your guesses. The game offers more than 150 hand-picked clues available in both English and German, and two visual styles to choose from: Art Deco and comic. Continent goals, unlockable titles, and map colors give longer-term targets to work toward alongside the five-round expedition format and a daily challenge shared by every player worldwide.

How to Play TerraTap Kingdom

A clue appears in the panel — a silhouette, a landmark, or a fact sheet — and the task is to identify where on the world map that country or place sits, then confirm the guess. Each round awards up to 5,000 points. For country targets, landing inside the correct border earns full marks; any miss outside the border reduces the score based on distance from the actual location.

Every successful guess conquers the target country, and the score determines how firmly it is held. Reaching the three conquest tiers — discovered, controlled, and mastered — requires progressively better accuracy on the same territory. When a clue has you stumped, an extra clue is available, though using it costs 20% of that round's available points.

Five rounds form one expedition. The daily challenge follows the same format but resets once per day and presents an identical set of clues to every player. Continent goals and unlockable titles and map colors provide ongoing progression beyond individual expeditions.
