Block 13: Night Shift
About Block 13: Night Shift
Block 13: Night Shift puts you in the role of a night guard stationed at a crumbling Soviet-era apartment block where something is very wrong. Each night, figures appear at the window claiming to be residents — but some are shapeshifters wearing stolen faces. Every decision to let someone in or turn them away carries weight, and the building remembers every mistake.
Several scenes show a dark, textured plaster wall framing a rectangular window that looks out into a long hallway lined with green floral wallpaper and brown doors. A framed black-and-white photograph of a cat hangs on the wall next to a keypad device in several views.
How to Play Block 13: Night Shift: Cross-Reference Every Clue to Survive
Each night a visitor arrives at the window and presents an identity. Your job is to determine whether they are a genuine resident or a shapeshifter before pressing the green or red button. A wrong choice ends the night immediately.
Shapeshifters forge the passport, so it always appears to match. The real clues hide in the details — an off-by-one apartment number, a stranger's keychain, or a story that contradicts the journal. On later nights a shapeshifter can answer every intercom question cleanly while the lie sits in a belonging on the tray, so no single tool is enough. Cross-referencing everything is the only reliable approach.
Your Investigation Tools
- Passport: The identity the visitor presents; press E to inspect it.
- Journal: The truth about every resident in the building.
- Belongings: A keychain, letter, book, or receipt on the tray to cross-reference with the journal.
- Phone: Call the number they gave and listen to who answers.
- Intercom: Ask them questions and compare their answers with what you know.
Decision Time
- Wrong choice: Game over.
