WorldGuessr
About WorldGuessr: Free Geography Guessing Game with Street View
WorldGuessr is a free geography guessing game that places you somewhere on Earth using real Street View imagery. Each round, you study your surroundings — streets, landscapes, road signs, license plates, architecture, vegetation, and which side of the road cars travel on — then pin your best guess on a map. The closer your pin lands to the actual location, the more points you earn.
Several scenes show roads stretching through varied landscapes, giving a sense of how wide the game's geographic range can feel. The game suits both dedicated geography enthusiasts and anyone who enjoys exploring the world from their screen.
How to Play WorldGuessr: Guess Locations and Score Up to 5000 Points
At the start of each round, WorldGuessr drops you at a random location anywhere in the world. Your task is to work out exactly where you are and mark it on the map as precisely as possible.
Finding Clues
Read signs and languages, examine license plates, study road markings, and take in the surrounding landscape and architecture — all of these details hint at your location.
Making Your Guess
Open the map, click or tap the spot where you believe you are, then confirm with the "Guess" button or the Space key. Each round awards up to 5000 points based on how close your pin is to the real location. A full game runs across 5 rounds, so the maximum possible total is 25000 points.
