About Shard Storm: Endless Monster-Smashing Defense
Shard Storm is an endless monster-smashing defense game where a spinning storm of crystal shards stands between waves of goo monsters and your gem hero. The core loop is elegantly self-fueling: every monster destroyed becomes a new shard, so the storm grows larger with each kill. Waves never stop and grow harder on their own, and every 25 waves the arena shifts into a new world with a new rule and a new boss.

How to Play Shard Storm: Steer, Smash, and Grow
Drag a finger or move the mouse to steer the shard storm directly into monsters before they reach your gem. Faster swipes hit harder, and quick kills build a combo that earns bonus coins. Each time the hero levels up, choose one of three power cards. When the gem breaks, collect the coins earned during that run, spend them on upgrades, heroes, and storm skins, then play again from the last checkpoint.
Monster Types
- Boomers: exploding monsters
- Ghosts: teleporting monsters
- Docs: healing monsters
- Boulders: rock-hard monsters
Ten monster types appear in total across the waves.
Heroes and Storm Skins
- Nine heroes are available to unlock, each with their own powers including fire, ice, lightning, and gold.
- Eight storm skins can be unlocked and equipped.
Controls
- Drag finger / Move mouse: Steer the shard storm
- Keys 1, 2, 3: Pick a power card at level up
- Space or Enter: Play again
- Esc: Pause
