Art Quiz: Guess the Painting
About Art Quiz: Guess the Painting: 1397 Masterpieces Across Art History
Art Quiz: Guess the Painting puts a real masterpiece in front of you and asks one question: who painted it? Van Gogh or Monet? Rembrandt or Vermeer? With 1397 famous paintings spanning the Renaissance through Soviet-era art, this offline art trivia game doubles as a genuine tour through centuries of painting. There is no timer pressing you forward — the pace is entirely your own, making it as comfortable for a curious beginner as for a seasoned art lover preparing for a museum visit.
Six chapters organize the collection by era and school, starting with the Renaissance and ending with Soviet-era painting. Coins collected during play unlock each new chapter, so progress through art history feels earned. Wrong answers are not dead ends — the game reveals the correct author immediately, turning every mistake into a small lesson. After each round, a caption shows both the painting's title and its creator, building recognition over time.
How to Play Art Quiz: Guess the Painting
Each round presents a painting at the top of the screen with four artist names below it. Select the name you believe painted it. A correct choice earns coins and points; an incorrect one highlights the real author so the pairing sticks in memory. After every answer, the painting's title and creator appear — reading those captions is the most effective way to train your eye.
Coins accumulate as you play and can be spent to unlock new chapters. All six chapters are available to work through, organized by era and school of painting. Progress is saved automatically, so sessions can be as short or as long as suits you.
