About Pistonio: A Cozy 3D Piston Puzzle

Pistonio is a cozy 3D puzzle game built around a single satisfying mechanic: tap a piston and it fires, shoving whatever stands in front of it. The goal on every level is to push a golden cube onto a marked goal plate in as few moves as possible. With 84 handcrafted levels spread across five planets and a fresh puzzle delivered every day, there is always something new to solve. One scene shows a grid of light-brown square tiles arranged diagonally on a purple background.

Clear a level and earn a chest. Inside those chests live musicians — collect twelve of them and seat them on an island, and it performs a complete song of its own.

How to Play Pistonio: Push the Golden Cube to the Goal

Fire a piston by tapping or clicking it; it pushes the block directly in front of it. Land the golden cube on the marked plate to clear the level. Move order is everything — a wrong shot can wedge the cube into a corner. Match the par move count to earn 3 stars.

Board Mechanics

• Sticky pistons: also pull blocks back toward them
• Pressure plates: open gates while a block sits on them
• Sensors: hold gates open only while occupied
• Conveyors: shift everything after each move
• Rotators: turn any piston that lands on them
