The objective each level is to organize all nuts by color so that every bolt holds only one color when the level ends. Movement follows a strict set of rules that keep the puzzle tight.

To move a nut, tap the bolt you want to take it from, then tap the destination bolt. Only the topmost nut on any bolt can be moved. A nut may land on top of another nut of the same color, or on any bolt that is completely empty — no other placements are allowed.

Completing a level earns nuts as a reward. Those nuts are then spent to construct buildings and develop your city. If a puzzle has you stuck, two forms of in-game help are available: view the solution for that level using a hint, or add an extra bolt to the playing field to open up more moves.
