About Boo Jar: Drop and Merge Halloween Jellies
Boo Jar is a Halloween-themed drop-and-merge puzzle game set in a little candy shop after dark. Cute spooky jellies fall into a jar, and whenever two identical ones touch, they merge into a larger one. The chain runs from Candy Corn all the way up to the golden-crowned Jack-o'-King, with Eyeball, Bat, Slime, Black Cat, Mummy, Witch, Franken, Vampire, and Moon filling the steps in between — eleven Halloween pixel-art jellies in total. The tone is cozy and a little spooky, never scary, and a cute-spooky music-box soundtrack keeps the mood just right. Boo Jar runs on both phone and computer and supports seven languages.
How to Play Boo Jar
Aim and drop jellies into the jar one at a time. Two matching jellies that touch merge into the next size up. The goal is to keep building bigger merges without letting the stack rise above the red line.
Halloween Events
- Witching Hour: every level the shop grows darker, leaving only a candle glow to light your aim.
- Bat Swarm: each level ends with a swarm of small jellies raining into the jar.
- Trick or Treat: a mystery candy bag arrives every 10 drops — it may grow your jelly or play a trick.
- Wandering Ghost: a friendly ghost floats by occasionally, and whatever it touches grows one size.
- Haunted Fog: from level 2 onward the next jelly is hidden in fog — land a 4x combo to blow it away.
- Lantern Frenzy: crown a Jack-o'-King to light up the jar, making every merge score x2.
When the jar gets too crowded, Shake mixes the contents or a Bomb blasts small jellies to clear space.
