Honeycomb: Connect the Numbers
About Honeycomb: Connect the Numbers: Cozy Logic Puzzle with a Friendly Bee
Honeycomb: Connect the Numbers is a cozy logic puzzle built around numbers and a friendly bee. The board is a honeycomb of hexagon cells, some already filled with numbers and the rest waiting in a tray below. The goal is to drag tiles onto the board until every number from 1 to the last forms one continuous chain of neighboring cells. Boards arrive in many shapes — islands, bridges, lakes, and blocked cells — so the spatial challenge shifts with every level. If Sudoku, Hidato, or Numberlink are already in your rotation, the rules will feel immediately familiar.
Forty handcrafted campaign levels open the experience, followed by endless generated levels that keep the puzzles coming. Single tiles share the tray with double and triple tiles that hold their shape, adding an extra layer of placement thinking. Three lives per level mean every move carries weight, and timed levels swap those lives for a countdown clock. Two boosters — Hint and Reveal — are on hand when a chain refuses to close, and a short bee-guided tutorial covers the rules in about a minute.
How to Play Honeycomb: Connect the Numbers: Fill the Chain from 1 to the Last
The objective is to fill the board so that all numbers from 1 to the final one form a single chain of neighboring hexagon cells. A few rules govern how tiles behave once placed.
Placing Tiles
- Drag a tile from the tray at the bottom onto an empty cell. A shadow appears during the drag to show where the tile will land.
- Every number must touch the number before it and the number after it. The numbers 1 and the last number each need only one neighbor.
- Double and triple tiles keep their shape and cannot be rotated.
- Dark cells are blocked — nothing goes there.
Feedback and Lives
- A correct tile stays on the board and links to its neighbors.
- A wrong tile costs a life and flies back to the tray. Each level starts with 3 lives.
- Tapping a placed tile highlights the next number in the tray.
- On timed levels a clock replaces the lives, and each mistake costs 5 seconds.
Boosters
- Hint: shows the number for one empty cell.
- Reveal: lets you pick a placed tile and puts its neighbor in place for you.
Controls
- Mouse or touch: drag a tile from the tray and drop it onto an empty cell on the board.
- Tap a placed tile: find the next number in the tray.
