Heist Escape: City Lockdown
About Heist Escape: City Lockdown: Race Your Getaway Car Through a City Chase
Heist Escape: City Lockdown drops you into the getaway, not the heist itself. The job is done — now you have to drive out of the city while a coordinated police force does everything it can to stop you. Patrol cars chase from behind, interceptors cut across junctions ahead, SUVs ram your flanks, vans throw up roadblocks, and a helicopter tracks you from above with its searchlight.
The police work as a team, trying to box you in completely. A capture meter fills as they close the net, and if they fully surround your car, you're BUSTED. The city itself is built from blocks, with parks, parking lots, and construction sites woven through the streets. Several scenes show a circular fountain sitting at the center of a four-quadrant green park area. In one scene, a helicopter casts a cone of light down onto a car below. Black tire marks trail behind a vehicle across a paved area marked with white slanted lines in another moment.
The chase runs across 6 pursuit levels that grow harder the longer you survive, and the garage holds 6 unlockable getaway cars — from the Starter Compact to a heavy Armored SUV and the fastest Supercar — each available in a choice of paint colors. Physics-based crashes mean every car, traffic vehicle, cone, and barrier reacts to hits, and the police AI flanks, intercepts, rams, and surrounds rather than simply following.
How to Play Heist Escape: City Lockdown: Collect Cash and Break Free
The goal is to collect as much cash as possible, keep moving, and avoid getting surrounded. Green cash stacks sit on the road for easy pickup; gold $100 bundles are worth more but appear in riskier spots. Drive over them to collect.
The police don't just chase — they try to box you in. Watch for the SURROUNDED warning and look for an open gap, or ram through a weak patrol car to break out. Reversing out of a trap, squeezing through tight gaps, and making police cars crash into each other are all valid escapes. Breaking free after the capture meter passes 70% earns an Escape Bonus. Spend stolen cash in the garage on faster or heavier cars.
