Gem Blocks is a relaxing block puzzle played on a wooden 8x8 board. Colorful blocks fill the grid, whole rows and columns clear when complete, and chaining those clears on consecutive moves builds satisfying combos. Two distinct modes keep the experience fresh: an endless Classic mode where the goal is beating your personal best score, and a 100-level Journey mode where sparkling jewels are embedded in specific lines and must be freed by clearing those lines. Classic progress is saved automatically, so returning to a session mid-run is always an option.

How to Play Gem Blocks: Fill Lines, Clear Jewels, Build Combos

A tray of blocks sits ready at the start of each move. Drag a block from the tray onto the board to place it. Once a full row or column is formed, it clears and scores points. Clearing lines on back-to-back moves builds a combo, multiplying the reward. The round ends the moment no remaining block from the tray can fit anywhere on the board.

In Journey mode, the objective shifts: lines containing jewels must be cleared until every jewel on the board has been collected across all 100 levels.

Two power-ups ease a crowded board. The Bomb targets a specific cell and blasts a 3x3 area around it. New Blocks swaps out the entire current tray for a fresh set when the available pieces aren't working.

Controls

• Mouse drag / Finger drag: Move a block from the tray onto the board
• Tap Bomb, then tap a cell: Blast a 3x3 area centered on that cell
• P or Esc: Pause the game
