Block Blast Master is a classic block-puzzle game played on a square grid, where strategy and speed together determine how far a run goes. The board is made up of dark blue squares arranged in an eight-by-eight grid, and beveled blocks in red, purple, light blue, yellow, and green fill the spaces as play progresses. The objective is straightforward but demanding: score as many points as possible in a single continuous run by clearing lines and chaining combinations before the board fills up.

Each turn presents a trio of variously shaped pieces built from familiar polyomino figures. Pieces cannot be rotated or flipped — they must be placed exactly as shown in the tray, which pushes planning several moves ahead from the very first placement. Fill a complete horizontal or vertical line without gaps and it vanishes instantly, freeing space and earning points. Clear multiple lines in one move or string together consecutive clears for a streak, marked on screen by a pulsating pink heart. The run ends the moment no piece from the current trio can fit anywhere on the board, and there is no revival option — only the chance to beat the record displayed beside a golden crown in the corner.

Drag and Drop Blocks

At the start of each turn, a trio of shaped blocks appears in the tray. Select one block and drag it onto the playing field, choosing its position carefully — where each piece lands has a direct effect on the moves that follow. Pieces must be placed exactly as shown; rotating or flipping is not available.

Forming Lines

Arrange blocks so they complete full horizontal or vertical lines across the grid. A fully filled line disappears immediately, opening up space and awarding points. Each cleared line earns 20 points. Clearing multiple lines in a single move or achieving consecutive clears without interruption grants additional bonus points, with streaks highlighted by a pulsating pink heart on screen.

Planning Ahead

Because pieces cannot be rotated, strategic placement several moves ahead is essential. Anticipate which shapes may appear next and leave room for them on the board. As play continues, more complex shape combinations are introduced, raising the demand for forward thinking.

End Game

The game ends when none of the three pieces in the current trio can be placed anywhere on the board. There is no revival feature — the goal is to delay that moment as long as possible while accumulating the highest score achievable in one continuous run. A personal best is tracked and displayed next to a golden crown on screen.
