About Sinkhole: Swallow a City and Become the Biggest Hole
Sinkhole drops you into a street as the smallest hole around, then dares you to grow until entire skyscrapers tip over the edge and vanish into the ground. The progression is satisfying and direct: everything swallowed makes the hole bigger, and a bigger hole can swallow bigger things. Eight rival holes compete on the same map, so the threat of being eaten is constant while the opportunity to eat back is always close.
Ten worlds carry the action from a downtown city through sunny suburbs, desert towns, a beach harbor by the ocean, snowy villages, and a giant neon megacity. Each world is unlocked with stars earned in the previous one, and every round ends with a boss tower that offers a big bonus if swallowed before time runs out.
How to Play Sinkhole
The goal is to become the biggest hole in the city before time runs out. Start by rolling over cones, benches, and people, then work up to cars and buses, and eventually whole buildings. Swallowing anything smaller grows the hole, which in turn makes larger objects reachable.
Power-ups and Combos
Glowing icons scattered on the road grant power-ups. Rolling over one activates it immediately; stacking two strong powers together creates a combo. Named power-ups include:
- Magnet
- Turbo
- Shockwave
- Twin holes
- Black Hole (combo)
Rivals
Seven other holes are competing at the same time. Eat any hole that is smaller, and avoid any that is larger. Taking revenge on a hole that previously swallowed you is part of the competition.
Winning and Progression
Score enough points to earn stars. One star is enough to open the next world. Swallowing the boss tower at the end of a round awards a big bonus. Ten worlds are available in total, spanning downtown city, sunny suburbs, desert towns, a beach harbor by the ocean, snowy villages, and a giant neon megacity.
