About Eggmental: Pixel-Art Defense and Elemental Collecting

Eggmental is a pixel-art defense game built around hatching and collecting elemental creatures. The goal is to protect the Prism Core against the Blight, day by day, while building up a crew of small elemental fighters called Motes. With 36 Motes spread across 7 elements, 57 charms, and 20 spells, the game offers a dense collection to chase and a Lattice upgrade tree of more than 300 nodes to work through. Progress saves automatically, and every chapter closes with a Blight Heart boss. Clear them all, ascend, and carry new powers into the next run.

How to Play Eggmental: Hatch Motes and Hold the Core

Each day, the objective is to hold the Prism Core until time runs out. Strike eggs with the spark pointer to crack and hatch them, releasing Motes that fight on their own. The pointer hits whatever it touches as it moves over the field, so it can strike the Blight directly as well. Between days, spend Insight on the Lattice to unlock upgrades, buy eggs and charms from the shop, and fill out the Field Guide.

Every chapter ends with a Blight Heart. Defeating all of them triggers an ascension, letting the run restart with new powers earned from the previous attempt.

Controls

• Mouse (move over field): Strike the Blight and crack eggs — the pointer hits whatever it touches
• Click: Interact with buttons, shop offers, and Lattice nodes
• Drag or arrow keys: Pan the Lattice
• Space: Show stats of creatures under the pointer
• P or Esc: Pause
• Q / E: Switch tabs on the upgrade screen
• Hold R: Give up the current try
• Touch (drag finger over field): Move the pointer, which sits just above the finger
• AUTO (tap): The pointer sweeps the field by itself
• Tap once (upgrades): Read a node or item
• Tap twice (upgrades): Buy a node or item
