About Cursed Treasure 1.5: Defend the Overlord's Three Gems

Cursed Treasure 1.5 puts you in the role of a ruthless Overlord whose prized gems are once again under threat from do-gooders. After a decade of uneasy peace, the heroes are back — ninjas, angels, and lizard riders among them — determined to steal the last three gems the Overlord has hoarded through centuries of nefarious deeds. Your job is not to keep the gems untouched, but to keep them from leaving: let the mob handle them, just don't let anyone escape with one.

The Overlord commands a combined force of orcs, undead, and demons, channeled through towers, spells, and a deep skill tree. Fifteen brand-new levels spread across varied terrain, and mysterious underground passages add another layer to the battlefield. Several scenes show bright green, red, and blue gems nestled inside hollowed-out stone formations. Vertical stone borders decorated with skulls, crossed swords, and small green plants appear across multiple views of the game.

How to Play Cursed Treasure 1.5

The mission condition is straightforward: withstand all enemy waves and ensure at least one gem remains in your possession when the last wave breaks. Orkish servants will clean any touched gems once the fighting ends, so a gem that gets handled is not a gem that is lost — only a gem that escapes counts against you.

Building Towers

Towers are your primary defense. To place one, select a tower type from the panel and then choose an empty tile on the level. Each tower type has terrain restrictions: Dens go on grass, Crypts on snow, and Temples on rock. Any tower type, however, can be placed on High Ground regardless of the surface beneath it. Building on vapor tiles grants extra Mana.

Upgrading and Expanding

Towers support 12 different upgrades and carry unique powers, giving each structure a distinct role as the waves escalate. Alongside tower development, 33 epic skills are available to unlock and add to your firepower over the course of the campaign.

Casting Spells

Spells provide direct intervention on the battlefield. To cast one, select it from the panel and then point to the target location on the level. Devastating options include Meteor and Frenzy, and the game makes clear they will help a great deal when enemy pressure peaks.

• Click tower type on panel: Select the tower to build
• Click empty tile on level: Place the selected tower
• Click spell on panel: Select the spell to cast
• Click target location on level: Cast the selected spell at that point
