Browser Anomaly casts you as a rogue script breaking free from the browser sandbox. Every level is a web page, and the page's own layout becomes your toolset — links act as trampolines, checkboxes become traps, radio buttons rebuild the page around you, and a dropdown unfolds into a ladder. Three web eras stand between you and freedom, culminating in a Window Manager boss fight. The game spans platform, puzzle, and action-adventure territory, with an indie sensibility and a genuinely clever premise built around the structure of the web itself.

How to Play Browser Anomaly

The goal on every page is to reach the </> exploit, which carries you forward to the next level. Type into input fields to stretch them into bridges. Pick DevTools tools — Inspector, Z-index, and Styles — from the panel, then apply them by clicking a page element. Avoid red spikes throughout. To defeat the Window Manager boss, grab the edges of its window and squeeze it three times.

Enemies and hazards include pop-ups, CAPTCHA drones, and cookie banners, all of which must be dodged as you navigate each page's layout.
