About Beaver Breakout: 3D Stealth Puzzle-Platformer Roguelike
Beaver Breakout puts you in the paws of a beaver trapped inside a dungeon of 20 dens, with no weapon and no backup — just your wits, your teeth, and a talent for squeezing through tight spaces. The goal is straightforward: get out. The path is anything but. Wooden walls block your route, ledges and pits interrupt every corridor, flooded rooms demand a swim, and tunnels too narrow for anything larger than a beaver offer the only safe passage through the worst stretches.
Coyotes patrol every den. They are bigger and faster than you, so fighting is off the table and simply sprinting past them rarely ends well. Each run is freshly generated, and the dens grow progressively harder — more coyotes, sharper eyes, darker halls, and fewer hiding spots as you push deeper. One life is all you get per run, which gives every decision real weight.
Several scenes show a bundle of yellow sticks tied with a red ribbon floating above the ground. Green vertical cylinders with brown tops appear clustered on flat green squares across multiple views of the game.
How to Play Beaver Breakout
Each den asks you to reach the glowing gate without being caught. Watch the coyotes' vision cones carefully — a question mark above one means it is suspicious, and an exclamation mark means it has spotted you. When that happens, find a hollow log or a clump of reeds and stand completely still until the coyote gives up the search.
Chewing through wooden walls opens new paths, but chewing is noisy, so time it when no coyote is close. Coyotes cannot climb ledges, swim, cross pits, or fit through tunnels, so those terrain features work in your favor. Collect golden twigs along the way for bonus points, and after clearing each den pick a perk — options include sharper teeth or softer paws. Your deepest run score goes on the leaderboard. A short tutorial walks you through everything before your first real attempt.
