Backgammon Pro brings the timeless board game to life, letting you face either a human friend or the computer across a classic backgammon board. The goal is straightforward: be the first player to move all your pieces home and bear them off completely. How to Play Backgammon Pro

Both players start with 15 checkers arranged around the board. Your home area sits directly opposite your opponent's home area. On each turn, you roll the dice and advance your checkers toward your home area by the numbers shown. Rolling doubles lets you move four checkers instead of the usual two. Once all your checkers have reached your home area, you begin removing them from the board entirely — the first player to clear all 15 wins.

Where Checkers Can Move

• Spaces with no other checkers present
• Spaces already occupied by your own checkers
• Spaces where your opponent has only a single checker

Moving to a space where your opponent holds two or more checkers is not permitted.

Capturing an Opponent's Checker

Landing on a space occupied by exactly one of your opponent's checkers captures it. That checker is removed from the board and must re-enter from the beginning of the board on a subsequent dice roll.
