How to Play Backgammon Online 3D

The goal is to be the first player to move all 15 checkers around the board and bear them off. Each turn, both dice are rolled; move one checker the combined total or two checkers separately. Rolling doubles grants four moves instead of two — a significant advantage.

Long Backgammon Rules

Checkers move toward each other across the full board. A point held by two or more opponent checkers cannot be entered. A single opponent checker can be hit, sending it back to the starting position to travel the full route again.

Short Backgammon Rules

Checkers move in one direction and blocking the opponent is not allowed. Whoever uses each dice roll faster and more precisely wins.

Bearing Off

Once all 15 checkers are gathered in your home board, roll and remove checkers according to the numbers shown. The first player to clear all checkers wins.
