How to Play Backgammon Online 3D
The goal is to be the first player to move all 15 checkers around the board and bear them off. Each turn, both players roll two dice. A single checker may move the combined total, or two checkers may each move one die's value. Rolling doubles grants four moves rather than two.
Long Backgammon
Checkers travel toward each other across the full board. Landing on a point held by two or more opponent checkers is forbidden. A lone opponent checker can be hit — it returns to the starting position and must cover the full route again.
Short Backgammon (Shesh-Besh)
Checkers move in one direction only, and blocking the opponent is not permitted. The winner is whoever uses each dice roll faster and more precisely.
Bearing Off
Once all 15 checkers are gathered in your home board, bearing off begins. Roll the dice and remove checkers according to the numbers rolled. The first player to clear every checker wins.

In Long Backgammon, checkers move toward each other across the full board and single opponent checkers can be hit and sent back to the start.
