Zombie Calig is a tense top-down survival shooter built around a single, unforgiving rule: your torchlight is your only weapon. Zombies absorb no damage outside its beam, so every bullet fired into the darkness is wasted. The game strips survival horror down to light management and ammo discipline, level after level throwing larger hordes that demand more shots per kill.
How to Play Zombie Calig
The objective each level is to eliminate every zombie before your ammunition is exhausted. Because zombies only die when they are inside your torchlight beam, positioning that beam is as important as pulling the trigger. Bullets pass straight through zombies standing in the dark and deal no damage whatsoever.
Zombies arrive in small waves rather than all at once. Distant targets outside the beam are not worth shooting at; waiting for them to enter the light conserves the limited bullets available per level. Reloading at the wrong moment — when surrounded — can be fatal, so finding a safe gap between waves is essential. The difficulty scales across levels: zombies that fall in two shots in Level 1 require more shots in later stages, making every round count even more as the game progresses.
