Woodlock
About Woodlock: 3D Lights-Out Puzzle on a Wooden Cube
Woodlock is a 3D puzzle game built around a classic lights-out challenge played across the faces of a wooden cube. The goal is straightforward — every glowing button on the cube must be turned off — but the path there is anything but. Pressing a button also toggles all of its connected neighbors, and those connections can snake across multiple faces, turning a single tap into a rippling chain of cause and effect.
The collection spans 50 handcrafted puzzles, scaling from compact 2×2×2 cubes up to sprawling 5×5×5 challenges, steadily pushing spatial reasoning and logical thinking. Several scenes show a three-dimensional cube with a dark wood-grain texture and recessed grooves at the center of the frame, giving the puzzles a tactile, crafted feel.
How to Play Woodlock: Turn Off Every Glowing Button
Each puzzle begins with a cube whose surfaces are dotted with glowing buttons. The puzzle is solved the moment every last button goes dark. Rotate the cube freely to survey all six faces before committing to a move, because connections between buttons can cross from one face to another — the full picture only emerges when you look at the whole structure.
Burned lines etched into the wood show exactly which buttons are linked. Following those lines before tapping lets you predict the ripple each press will cause. Fewer total moves earns more stars, so matching or beating the minimum move count shown is the mark of a clean solution. When progress stalls, a Hint will automatically play the next best move.
Controls
- Tap a button: Toggle it and all buttons connected to it by the burned lines on the cube's surface
- Drag anywhere on the cube: Rotate your view
- Pinch: Zoom in or out (mobile)
