About The Hole
The Hole begins with a shovel and a patch of garden. From that modest start, it grows into a deadpan, narrative-driven incremental game that takes roughly three hours to reach its real ending. The tone is dry and unhurried, the premise deliberately small, and the question of where it all leads is left for the player to discover. The game is available in English, French, and Spanish.
How to Play The Hole
The core loop is straightforward: dig deeper, sell what comes out of the ground, and use the proceeds to hire help and acquire better equipment. Workers, tools, and projects are all purchasable as the hole grows, letting the digging continue even when direct input slows down. The game is incremental in structure, so progress compounds over time as each purchase opens the next layer of depth.
