About Route Z
Route Z puts you in command of a squad fighting down a zombie-overrun highway, choosing gates, managing soldier classes, and pushing through increasingly brutal hordes. The run spans three zones across day and night conditions, with rain and fog adding to the challenge. Soldier classes include shield, medic, grenadier, sniper, and engineer, each bringing distinct capabilities to your column. Between runs, an upgradeable base and an XP-driven progression system let you strengthen your force and unlock new levels, characters, and weapons.
How to Play Route Z: Reach the Goal Distance
Each level sets a goal distance along the zombie-infested highway. Shoot through the horde, pick gates to grow your army or unlock soldier classes, and make path decisions at every fork. Along the way, rescue civilians, escort the survivor bus, and call in airstrikes when the charge is ready. Defeating the zone boss clears the zone; if the horde wipes out your squad, the run ends. XP earned during runs goes toward upgrades and unlocking new levels, characters, and weapons at the base.
