Steal the Meme is a 3D meme heist game where the goal is to become the richest meme collector on the internet. Buy famous memes off a conveyor belt using likes, place them on your base, and watch the likes accumulate. Every meme moves through a lifecycle — Fresh, Viral, Fading, and Cringe — with a select few reaching Classic status. Timing your sell matters: offloading a meme at its Viral peak earns a bigger payout. When likes run short, sneaking into a rival's base to grab their Doge (or any other meme) is always an option. The Memepedia tracks all 16 memes available to collect.
How to Play Steal the Meme: Buy, Collect, Steal, Protect
Start by purchasing memes from the conveyor with likes, then place them on your base. Walk up to a meme to collect the likes it has earned. Sell while a meme is at its Viral stage for the highest return. Holding onto a meme risks it sliding into Fading or Cringe territory, though a rare few climb to Classic instead.
Stealing and Defense
- Enter an unlocked rival base, hold the action button next to a meme, and carry it home before the owner catches you.
- Lock your own base using the blue button to keep rivals out.
- Run into a thief who has grabbed one of your memes to take it back.
