Squad of Ages: Football Draft is a browser-based football card drafting game where every session begins with a spin of the roulette. The wheel lands on a random nation and a World Cup year, then presents three footballers from that historical squad. One pick at a time, eleven decisions in total, and the result is a complete XI assembled entirely by you.

The database spans over 2200 footballers drawn from 61 national teams, covering World Cup editions from 1970 through 2026. Eight rarity tiers run from Common all the way up to Immortal, with special cards rated as high as 105 and rare shiny variants scattered throughout. Each draft follows a clear sequence of picks, placements, and chemistry decisions that builds toward a finished squad and a leaderboard score.

Starting the Draft

• Press "Build your squad" to launch the roulette. It lands on a random nation and World Cup year, setting the theme for that pick.
• Three footballer cards appear. Hit "Select" on the one you want — the card is then armed for placement.
• If none of the three suit you, "Refresh" deals a new set of candidates on the same nation-and-year theme. "Reroll" spins an entirely new nation and year.

Placing Players on the Pitch

• Tap a position on the pitch to place the selected card. Legal slots are highlighted: green marks a perfect fit, gold marks an allowed position.
• Position rules are strict — a striker never lands in goal, a defender never lands up front, and a keeper only fits the goalkeeper slot.
• Repeat the process until all 11 positions are filled.

Chemistry and Overall

• Footballers who share a nation and an era boost each other's chemistry, lifting your Overall score with every smart placement.

Results and Progression

• On the results screen, collect your coins. A video option is available to double the reward.
• Send the finished squad to the leaderboard.
• Spend coins in the shop on tokens, run the Cup, and work toward completing national sets in your collection.
